Going all Blue Peter
For this fun and friendly project with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, I collaborated with Sophie Wilson to write and film an educational miniseries. Made for a teenage audience, the films support the Key Stage 3 & 4 curriculums which makes them an ideal learning-aid both in the classroom and at home. The series was made on-location at Spurn Point where the Trust's marine team are working hard to restore native species and habitats.
I grew up on factual kid's TV and jumped at this opportunity to inspire the next generation of nature conservationists. I'm only disappointed that the drama of the massive telly being wheeled into the classroom is a memory these children will only ever hear told.
